Heads up:
We’re moving the GATK website, docs and forum to a new platform. Read the full story and breakdown of key changes on this blog.
Update: July 26, 2019
This section of the forum is now closed; we are working on a new support model for WDL that we will share here shortly. For Cromwell-specific issues, see the Cromwell docs and post questions on Github.

Cromwell runtime 'memory' units

In WDL you can specify which unit your 'memory' runtime parameter is in. eg M, G, but also whether you are using binary or base 10 units (1024 vs 1000).

Cromwell consumes this parameter, and you can request the parameter as M or G, eg memory_gb memory_mb. However the docs do not state if that uses base 10 or base 2. Actually I could not find the documentation of that memory_x at all, maybe I read it in a tutorial not the actual docs.

Is it possible to specify the base? What units are possible?
