We’re moving the GATK website, docs and forum to a new platform. Read the full story and breakdown of key changes on this blog.
This section of the forum is now closed; we are working on a new support model for WDL that we will share here shortly. For Cromwell-specific issues, see the Cromwell docs and post questions on Github.
womtool validate --inputs foo.yaml fails (expecting json)
This is a followup to "Workflow input processing failed" WDL v1 - Comments in input JSON wherein it was recommended to use a yaml file to avoid the problem of newer versions of Cromwell rejecting "comment"-type keys in the inputs.json file. Cromwell (44) is OK with yaml input, but
womtools validate --inputs seems to accept only a json file, and with yaml fails with something like:
Unexpected character '-' at input index 1 (line 1, position 2), expected DIGIT: --- ^
Is there a way to get womtools to accept yaml input? If not, consider this a feature request.
