Heads up:
We’re moving the GATK website, docs and forum to a new platform. Read the full story and breakdown of key changes on this blog.
Update: July 26, 2019
This section of the forum is now closed; we are working on a new support model for WDL that we will share here shortly. For Cromwell-specific issues, see the Cromwell docs and post questions on Github.

AWS: getting the right instance type

I am trying to run a simple test workflow with the following runtime attributes:
runtime {
cpu: 1
memory: "1G"

I get a spot m4.xlarge instance with "Max price" of $0.1

What do I need to do to get something similar to the google’s n1-standard-1 preemptible instance that costs $.01?
