Run/Stop tasks in a WDL script

Dear all,

Let's say I have a WDL script with 4 tasks and they are running as they supposed to do.
After some time, I want to change the last task only but I don't want to do anything for what is before and I don't want to re-run the whole script with the new changes because it takes very long time (and I don't know if it will work even with the new changes). Is there anyway that I can (by any mean) deactivate/activate some tasks from the WDL script as if they ran already till some point where I would like it actually to run?

Thanks for your help
