The Frontline Support team will be slow to respond December 17-18 due to an institute-wide retreat and offline December 22- January 1, while the institute is closed. Thank you for your patience during these next few weeks. Happy Holidays!
VariantRecal without reference
If I'm calling variants on an organism (or population) without established common/known variants, is performing variant recalibration redundant? My provisional approach would be to use high-quality calls as a reference variant set, and then recalibrate based upon these, but I'm really not sure if this is correct.
I have read the documentation so apologies if it clearly answers my question already.
