Is there any way to get the inbreeding coefficient with fewer than 10 samples?

I'm using UnifiedGenotyper (version 2.3-0) to call SNPs and indels on a file with 8 samples, and I would like to output the inbreeding coefficient (VCF INFO tag ID=InbreedingCoeff). I found a note in your documentation saying that "the Inbreeding Coefficient will not be calculated for files with fewer than a minimum (generally 10) number of samples." Is there any way to set this minimum number of samples? I tried adding the option "--annotation InbreedingCoeff" to the UnifiedGenotyper command, but that did not help.
