Release notes: November 7th, 2016
The latest version of FireCloud includes the following new functionality and bug fixes:
You can now create a FireCloud Billing Project from the FireCoud UI if you are the administrator on a Google billing account. More information can be found here in our User Guide.
FireCloud now remembers how you customize your views in the Data tab (sort order, shown columns, etc) so that it is not lost when you switch tabs or navigate away.
As a tool developer or analyst, you can update the permissions on a Method Repository namespace so you can control who can contribute to that namespace.
As the "owner" of a FireCloud Billing Project, you can now view the billing charges to that project through the Google Cloud console.
Project owner(s) now have owner access to any workspace in their project. This allows project owners to stop analyses that are running or take over access to a workspace after that workspace's owner leaves a lab.
As an analyst, when viewing the status and results of an analysis submission from the Monitor tab, you are now able to link directly to the bucket folders associated with your submission, the submission's workflows, and calls within that workflow. You can also link to each workflow's log file from within the workflow details.
In addition to the new features above, we have fixed the following:
Sample set (0) no longer shown for Sample sets in the Data tab.
Please stay tuned for future updates!
