@write2sethu The free credits program allows you credits worth $300 that will expire December 30, 2019 or 60 days after they were issued, whichever comes first. Usage of the free credits is not restricted to specific pipelines but the cost does not include just use of these pipelines. Cost includes egress, compute, and storage. If you want to view how much you have spent or other details about your activity you can check here for that information: https://console.cloud.google.com/home/. I have linked to a blog that explains how to estimate cost of the components listed above. Please let me know if you have further questions!
@write2sethu You should be able to follow the instructions to use BigQuery to get the information/cost for your workflow runs. Please note that after running your workflow, it may take some time for your information to become available via BigQuery.
@write2sethu Sorry for the delay, I am checking in this issue as we speak and will get back to you shortly.
@write2sethu Users can monitor their spend in the Google Console or by using Onix's OnSpend platform. Someone from the FireCloud team will be reaching out to you offline via email to help get you set up to monitor your spend. Users also get emailed throughout the free credit period notifying them of their usage, both in terms of dollar amount spent as well as days remaining if they are close to the 60 day limit.
You can manually retrieve the cost of running a workflow in tsv format using BigQuery. We have documentation on how to do this here: Retrieve the time and cost of a completed workflow.
@write2sethu Okay, I am just covering the forum today so I was not aware that someone was already working on this issue for you. We will continue to monitor this effort from the forum in case another issue arises.
